Netscape Communicator
  1. Open up your netscape mail program so you are in the inbox.
  2. Click on Edit and then on Mail and Newsgroup Settings. On the left click on Add Account near the bottom of the page. The Account Wizard should then pop up.
  3. Select e-mail account then press next.
  4. Select POP then for the incoming mail server type in the following as it applies to your e-mail account:
    mail.smartt.com (if you are using a SmarttNet e-mail address) mail.bcinternet.com (if you are using a Bcinternet e-mail address) mail.yourdomain.com (if you are using a corporate e-mail address)
  5. For Outgoing mail server type in the following as it applies to your e-mail account
    mail.smartt.com (if you are using a SmarttNet e-mail address)
    mail.bcinternet.com (if you are using a Bcinternet e-mail address)
    mail.yourdomain.com (if you are using a corporate e-mail address)
    Or if you are not using SmarttNet as your Internet Service Provider (ISP) you must contact your ISP and ask for the correct Outgoing Mail Server address.
  6. Click Next to continue.
  7. For your Incoming user name type in the username that you have chosen through SmarttNet for your e-mail address.
  8. For your Outgoing user name type the same username as typed in the above field (they are the same). Then click on Next to continue.
  9. Then click on Next again and then Finish to complete the wizard.
