- Click on the Start button, select Programs, select Accessories, and select Dial-Up Networking.
- Double-click on the Make New Connection icon.
- At the Type a name for the computer you are dialing: input field, type in Smarttnet.
- Click the Next button.
- At the Telephone number input field, type in 473-9747
- Click the Next button.
- Click the Finish button.
- Right-click on the Smarttnet icon and select Properties.
- Click on the Server Types button.
- For the Type of Dial-Up Server, select PPP: Internet, Windows NT Server, Windows 98 option.
- Un-select Log on to Network, un-select NetBEUI, un-select IPX/SPX compatible and leave the TCP/IP selected.
- Click on the TCP/IP Settings button
- Select Server assigned IP address option.
- Select Specify name server addresses option.
- At the Primary DNS: input field, type in 69.31.170.249, and in the Secondary DNS: input field, type 69.67.177.249
- Click on the OK button.
- Click on the OK button again to finish the process.
